Mcdonalds Corp. McDonalds is a fast food restaurant company founded on April 15, 1955, by Ray Kroc. It’s headquarters are located in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States. They serve 68 million customers on a daily across 119 countries around the world. With approximately 35,000 running locations, they sell all types of fast food including burgers, wraps, fries, salads, pastry’s, sandwiches, and beverages and more! Industry: The industry that McDonalds Corp. operates within is the food industry, and to be more specific, the fast-food industry. For the most part, McDonalds has dominated all other fast food corporations since it’s existence. The fast food industry alone is said to have a 2.5% growth rate for the next couple years ahead. Companies operating within this industry focus on taste, price, and quality, respectively. This is why despite the bad quality hamburgers, people continue to come back for more because they enjoy the taste for an extremely affordable price.
