However, the two nouns have a distinct meaning. Morals are internal principles that a person focuses upon when deciding between right or wrong conduct. A person’s true character can be revealed by understanding that said person’s morals. Ethics are a set of rules or rules of conduct that a person follows due to social or company standards. For example, stealing money from your workplace would be considered unethical, and disrespecting your coworkers would be immoral.
